BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY INTO ANY COMPETITION, THE ENTRANT AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

DEFINITIONS:-
PROMOTER:- CSL Giveaways Limited.
WEBSITE:- www.csl-giveaways.co.uk
COMPETITION:- Contest that may be entered into by the Entrant which will result in the allocation of a Prize specific to the Competition entered. Multiple Competitions could be in operation on the Website at any one time.
ENTRANT:– Any person who enters one or more of the competitions via the website (or via the postal entry route described within these terms & conditions) who has correctly answered the Question relevant to the specific Competition being entered and has paid (in £/Pounds Sterling/GBP) the correct fee relevant to the specific Competition being entered. Payment can also be made by a third party on behalf of the Entrant.
ACCOUNT:- The Account held by the Entrant at www.csl-giveaways.co.uk which is required for an Entrant to be able to enter a Competition. An Account is for the sole use of the Entrant and the details of which must not be shared with or used by any other person. The Entrant will be required to create a secure password to their Account, the password must be kept private and confidential at ALL times. The Promoter will not be responsible for unauthorised access to or use of an Account.
QUESTION:- The Question specific to the Competition being entered and detailed on the specific Competition page which the Entrant must correctly answer using skill, judgement or knowledge to obtain an opportunity to win a Prize. To be deemed a ‘correct answer’, the Entrant’s answer must match the answer held by the Promoter for the specific Competition entered. The Promoter’s decision is final.
WINNER:- The Entrant chosen at random before or after the Closing Date for each Competition who will receive the Prize in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. The Winner must provide Proof of identity prior to collection of the Prize and this must match that of the details provided when entering the respective competition.
PRIZE:– Multiple competitions may be operated by the Promoter at any one time. Each competition will generally have one specific Prize. The Promoter may on occasion offer more than one Prize per Competition, this will be detailed on the specific Competition/Prize page(s).
1. COMPETITION(S)
1.1. The Promoter controls the operation of the Competition(s).
1.2. The Competition is open for entry to any person aged 18 years or over excluding the Promoter, the Promoter’s family, professional advisors or anyone else connected with the development or operation of the Website.
1.3. The Entrants and the Promoter recognise and agree that the Competition, its administration and all associated activities are governed by English Law and the Promoter and Entrants recognise and agree that the County or High Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising out of the Competition or its administration.
1.4. By entering into the Competition, the Entrant acknowledges that their payment allows them the chance to answer the Question and, if the question is answered correctly, gain entry into the Prize draw which in turn, gives them the chance to win the Prize but does not guarantee in any way that they will win the Prize.
1.5. The Promoter does not guarantee in any way the value of the Prize, its condition or its roadworthiness (if the Prize is a road going vehicle) at the time the Prize is handed to the Winner. However, all vehicles will, if required, have a current MOT certificate at the time the competition is closed unless stated on the Competition page of the Website.
1.6. Only completed Entries which include the correct answer (matching that held by the Promoter) to the Question will be entered into the Competition, failure to correctly answer the Question will result in the Entrant being charged regardless.
1.7. As a condition of entering the Competition, it is the Entrant’s responsibility to ensure that they are eligible to do so and do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The Promoter will not be liable in any way whatsoever if an Entrant enters the Competition unlawfully, the Entrant will be disqualified from the Competition and the Entrant will not receive a refund of any entry fees or any other compensation whatsoever.
1.8. By Entering a Competition, the Entrant is deemed to have both the legal and mental capacity to do so and the Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever if it later transpires that the Entrant did not/does not have either the Legal or Mental capacity to Enter the Competition.
1.9. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify/refuse any Entrant if it reasonably believes that an Entrant has not complied with any of these Terms and Conditions or acted in a way that is reasonably considered to be illegal or fraudulent by the Promoter.
1.10. The Promoter will not accept any responsibility for Competition Entries that are lost, delayed or incomplete regardless of the cause, including but not limited to, equipment fault or failure, technical issues, computer/tablet/telephone hardware or software issues, system, network or server issues and postal service issues.
1.11. Upon receipt, all Entry fees become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
1.12. Each Competition will have a Maximum Number of Entries, this number will differ for each Competition and will be detailed on each specific Competition page. Each Competition will close once the maximum number of entries has been reached for the respective Competition, and a draw date will be announced within a maximum of 72 hours. The Prize(s) may still be awarded at the sole discretion of the promoter if the number of paid entries at the time of closing the competition does not reach the Maximum Number of Entries, but nevertheless is deemed by the Promoter as sufficient for the draw to go ahead. Each Competition will also have a Minimum Number of Entries.
1.13. The Promoter reserves the right to extend the closing date for a competition should it be deemed by the Promoter to be absolutely necessary. The Promoter will not extend the closing date for a Competition more than a maximum of three times. Upon reaching the closing date of the third extension, the draw will take place. If the maximum number of entries have not been sold at the closing date of the third extension, the Promoter reserves the right to set a date for the Live Draw and decide either to award the Prize to the Winner regardless or to substitute the Prize for a cash prize equal to the value of 75% of the Paid Entries received for the Competition at that date. Should this situation arise, the Promoter may, at the Promoter’s sole discretion try to arrange a deal with the Winner so that the original Prize can still be awarded.
1.14. If the Minimum Number of Entries have not been received at the Closing Date, the Competition may fail, if the Competition Fails, the Promoter reserves the right to either Cancel the Competition and return all Entry Fees to the Entrants, or to set a date for the Live Draw and the Winner will receive a cash prize equal to 75% of the value of the Paid Entries received for the Competition at that date.
2. ENTRY
2.1. How to Enter:
a/ View the Competition page on the Website and find the Question.
b/ Select the Answer for the Competition believed to be correct.
c/ Select the number of Entries required.
d/ Agree to the Terms and Conditions and submit the Entry via the ‘Participate’ button.
e/ Complete payment of required fee in Pounds Sterling (£/GBP) and await order confirmation.
2.2. Maximum number of permitted entries per Entrant vary on each individual Competition, each Competition will state the maximum number of entries permitted for any natural or legal person for each Competition on the Competition or Prize pages for each Competition. An Entrant will not be able to purchase the maximum number of permitted entries per person if to do so would result in the overall Maximum number of Entries to the Competition being exceeded.
2.3. The Competition will run from and to the dates and times stated on the Competition page. All dates and times stated on the Website will be the time and date in London, England. The promoter reserves the right to alter the dates and times for either the start or the end of the Competition if it is absolutely necessary to do so. Any changes will be displayed on the Website.
2.4. When the maximum number of entries are received or the closing date is reached, the competition will be closed.
2.5. The Entrant recognises that they must use skill, judgement and knowledge to give the correct answer to the Question and therefore be eligible for Entry into the Prize draw.
2.6. To complete an entry into the Competition, the Entrant will need to have a current and valid account with CSL Giveaways Ltd. (available at www.csl-giveaways.co.uk), provide their contact details including full name and title, e-mail address, postal address, one telephone number and, for the entry fee and shop purchases only, their payment card details. Once the Entry is submitted via the Website, the Entrant’s card payment will be approved electronically.
2.7. All Entries to the Competition are final and no refunds shall be made for any reason or at any time unless the Competition is cancelled by the Promoter or if the Entry is received after the Competition has been closed.
2.8. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the result of the Competition following the determination of the Winner as described in these Terms & Conditions.
2.9. The Entrant agrees that the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for any goods and services ordered online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to any Competition Entry or Prize on the Website.
2.10. Postal Entry: – If you wish to enter the Competition via the postal system, the Entry must be made via the Postal Entry route described here: The Entrant must first register an (or already have a current active) account with CSL Giveaways Ltd. which is available via the Website (www.csl-giveaways.co.uk), send an unenclosed postcard via First Class or Second Class post stating the Entrant’s Full Name and Title, Full Postal Address including Post Code, which Competition the Entrant would like to enter, the correct answer to the specific Question relating to the particular Competition the Entrant wishes to enter, the Entrant’s Date of Birth, e-mail address and one telephone number. All details on the postcard must match the details entered on the Entrant’s account on the Website. All Entries must be clearly written in English, any Entry not in English and/or illegible will not be submitted for Entry into the Competition. Only One Postal Entry into any Competition will be permitted per household.
2.11. Postal Entries must be sent to: CSL Giveaways Ltd, 5 Fay Close, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1LZ.
2.12. Postal Entry into more than one Competition per postcard is not permitted. Requesting more than one Entry into a Competition or Entries into more than one Competition on any one postcard will result in the no Entries being submitted into any Competition for that postcard.
2.13. Postal Entries must be received 48 hours before the Competition is closed (either due to time and date or due to the maximum number of entries being received or for any other reason) and must meet ALL the criteria described in these Terms and Conditions. Any Postal Entry received after this deadline and/or does not meet the criteria described in these Terms and Conditions will be void and will not be entered into the draw to be given a chance to win the Prize.
2.14. The Promoter will not confirm receipt of or acknowledge in any way Postal Entries, if all criteria is met, the Entry will be entered into the Competition prize draw.
2.15. The Promoter will decide if an Entrant’s Postal Entry complies with all criteria required in these Terms & Conditions, the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. PRIZE DRAW AND SELECTING THE WINNER
3.1. The Winner will be Randomly selected from the Entrants to the Competition who answered the Question correctly (as held by the Promoter) using Google Random Number Generator (or alternative fair and suitable method) via live stream on Facebook or Youtube or www.csl-giveaways.co.uk
3.2. Details of the live draw date, time and live stream location will be confirmed via Facebook and/or www.csl-giveaways.co.uk within 72 hours of the competition ending.
3.3. In some competitions, Draw Numbers displayed in the Entrant’s Account Page on the Website or confirmation email may be subject to change until the draw is confirmed to be closed and entry lists are published. For example if the competition does not sell out or closes early, or in the unlikely event of either a human or technical error.
3.4. There will be only one Winner per Competition unless stated otherwise in the details given on the Competition page.
3.5. If the Winner cannot be contacted by the Promoter within 7 days (unless extended at the sole discretion of the Promoter) of being notified of their status as the Winner by e-mail or telephone via the contact details submitted along with their Entry, then the Promoter reserves the right to then select an Alternate Winner, who will then have 7 days to accept the prize following the same routes of contact as the original Winner. The originally selected Winner will have no claim to the prize after an Alternate Winner is selected
4. PRIZE(S)
4.1. Once the Competition is complete and a Winner is selected, the Prize will be issued to the Winner. In the case of the Prize being a road going vehicle such as a car or motorcycle, the relevant V5C document will need to be completed by the Winner before the Prize is handed over. The Winner will be solely responsible for the Prize(s) from the moment of handover including, in the case of the Prize being a road going vehicle, responsibility for taxing and insuring it as required by law. The Promoter will have no more responsibility for the Prize once handover has taken place.
4.2. Collection of the Prize is the responsibility of the Winner unless stated otherwise on the Competition page on the Website. This will be from the Promoter’s address unless agreed by the Promoter that an alternative collection address can be used or delivery of the Prize can be arranged at the Winner’s cost.
4.3. Collection of the Prize must take place within 14 days of the Winner being notified unless otherwise agreed with the Promoter. If the Prize is not collected within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to charge for storage of the Prize until collection is complete.
4.4. At the time of collection and before the Prize is handed over to the Winner, the Winner must provide proof of Entry into the Competition and personal identification that matches that given on the Winner’s account with CSL Giveaways Ltd.
4.5. No warranty is implied or given by the Promoter on any Prize, the Promoter does not guarantee the value of any prize or the roadworthiness of any Prize in any way whatsoever. Entrants are responsible for making their own enquiries and for taking any legal advice they wish to take prior to entering a Competition.
4.6. All Prizes are the property of the the Promoter until the Prize is handed over to the Winner of the Competition.
4.7. The Prize will be as described in the Competition details on the Website, no alternatives will be offered under any circumstances unless agreed between the Promoter and the Winner at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
5. PROMOTION
5.1. By entering into the Competition, the Winning Entrant/Winner agrees that the Promoter may post the Entrant’s name and area of residence (as provided by the Entrant on their CSL Giveaways Ltd. account details) on the Website and on the Promoter’s Social Media accounts (in accordance with the Privacy Policy) for the Purposes of announcing the Winner of the Competition within 72 hours of the Winner being determined.
5.2. The Winning Entrant/Winner agrees that upon handover of the Prize (or at a later time if agreed by the Promoter) the Winner is required to have Photo(s) and/or Video(s) taken for use in promotional activity (including but not limited to, being used on the Website and CSL Giveaways’ Social Media accounts and on promotional equipment) after the Competition ends and in any future promotional requirements.
5.3. By entering a Competition, all Entrants give authorisation to the Promoter to enter their personal details onto the Promoter’s database and to use the information in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and subject to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
6. GENERAL
6.1. Upon entering the competition via either the Website or the Postal Entry route, the Entrant acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
6.2. The Promoter will not be liable for any failure or inability to contact any Entrant or Winner due to any error(s) in the contact details provided by the Entrant.
6.3. When entering a competition, the Entrant must submit all contact details requested by the Promoter including, but not limited to, full name, address, email address, date of birth, telephone number which can be used for the following purposes:
(i) to notify the Entrant if they are the Winner of the Prize or not.
(ii) to post on CSL Giveaways Website and/or Social Media accounts the Winner’s name and town/city of residence.
(iii) to comply with CSL Giveaways Limited’s Privacy Policy.
6.4. Entrants are entirely responsible for updating their CSL Giveaways account with correct and accurate contact details at all time.
6.5. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any time, whether Entries have been sold or not. If the Competition is cancelled, the Promoter shall return to all Entrants any Entry Fees paid by the Entrant. Return payments will be via Cashflows, Card Refund, Bank Transfer or Cheque in £/pounds Sterling/GBP and will be in one payment to cover all Entries made by each Entrant for the cancelled Competition.
6.6. In the unlikely event that a Competition is cancelled and Entry Fees returned to the Entrants, the Promoter will have no further liability whatsoever to the Entrant or any other person or institution.
6.7. CSL Giveaways Ltd reserve the right to close an Entrant’s Account and void any current Competition Entries for that Account if the Entrant is involved in or, is reasonably believed to be involved in, any type of fraudulent or other criminal activity including, but not limited to, fraudulent activity against CSL Giveaways or its customers/Account holders, tax fraud, money laundering, hacking of or unauthorised use of computers, servers or the website. In the Event that an Entrant’s Account is closed, no refunds will be given to the Entrant.
6.8. CSL Giveaways Ltd will not be liable for any loss incurred as a result of using the website or from entering a Competition via the Postal Entry route, regardless of the cause, including but not limited to, equipment fault or failure, technical issues, computer/tablet/telephone hardware or software issues, system, network or server issues and postal service issues.
6.9. CSL Giveaways Ltd reserves the right to amend all or part of these terms & conditions at any time without warning.
